Data transfer and signal lines are particularly susceptible to the harmful effects of transients. The Protector® data models are available in a wide range of physical and electrical configurations for application flexibility.

Data (D) models are terminal strip connected (in, out and ground) devices with operating voltages up to 90 Vpk, data rates up to 2.0 Mbits/sec and frequency ranges up to 20 MHz and are available in multi-pin/D sub configurations (RS232, etc.).

Coax models provide F, BNC and satellite type connectors, operating voltages up to 26 Vpk, data rates up to 150 Mbits/sec and frequency ranges up to 1.5 GHz.

Individual equipment and control cabinets operate most efficiently in transient-free environments. Low Cost Panel Mounted (din rail) Surge Protector.

This unit is available in 40kA and 100kA variations.  Designed for installation in din rail equiped distribution boards for protecting from live to live, live to neutral, and neutral to ground.  Standard units are for 250V systems, but 380 V and 525V delta configuration units are also available.

Dataline Surge Suppressor.

This unit is suitable for dataline protection form 5VDC to 48VDC.  The unit protects a single pair (more available on request) and is employed on 4-20mA loops, and for low power (<5A) DC fed equipment.

Suretech HV/PT

The Suretech(tm) HV/PT is a high quality, high reliability, high voltage proximity tester which can be carried even in a shirt pocket.  This gives the user the ability to prove to himself that the electrical equipment he is about to work on is de-energised and safe.  The tester is so simple to use that even unskilled users can operate with a minimum of instruction.  The suretech HV/PT has a battery healthy indicator (green LED) and a loud beeper to warn the user that live electricity is in near.  Furthermore, the HV/PT is inexpensive, so all electrical personell can feel better while working safer with the HV/PT

The low cost plug-in has 40kA surge protection with incorporated mains noise filtration and is available in both three and five socket outlet configurations.  This unit can be used for protection of home entertainment centres, PCs with peripherals,  most office equipment, and any indoor equipment requiring surge protection with filtration.

Unit incorporates 4 off 16A socket outlets, and 2 off 5A socket outlets.  This is ideal for prtection of home entertainment centres.  Also shown is the two telephone line protection with the same mains configuration.  This can also be supplied as a complete unit with UHF/VHF, DSTV, and two telephone line suppressors in one unit for the small office /  home office setup where full protection is required.
